Robert frost and Bob Dylan

Robert frost who was known for his simple poetry and he did not use complex words in his poetry. So that everyone can understand their poetry and most of his poem were related to nature. He was American poet (1874 -1963) who was  much admired for his depictions of the rural life of New England.  In 1924, he won the first of four Pulitzer prizes for the book New Hampshire: A poem with notes and grace notes  - Collected poems in 1931, A further range in 1937, A witness tree in 1943.

Bob Dylan is American singer - songwriter. Dylan has been a major figure in popular culture during a career spanning more celebrated work dates form the 1960s,  when songs such as  "Blowin in the wind" (1963) and " The Times They Are a - Changin" (1964)  became anthems for the Civil rights and anti- war movements. 

The Road Not Taken  poem by Robert frost 

This is most famous powerful life poetry by Robert frost. This poem published in 1915 and he wrote this poem for her friend  Edward Thomas. 

        "Two Roads diverged in a wood and i-

             I took the one less traveled by 

          And that has  made all the difference."

This poem about life philosophy. The poem speaker  tell about life expiration he say I am standing the yellow wood  and here two paths, both  are right and wrong. It is a most misunderstood poem, often read simply as a poem that the idea of " following your own path."

Hello Readers!  I  have wrote this blog  to response the blog task given by  Dr. Dilip  Barad Sir. This blog  concerns  the setting of 20 century, demonstrating it through Chaplin's films 'The Modern Times'  and 'The Great Dictator'  and few frame studies from the movie.

          Brief  introduction of  Charlie Chaplin's 

comedian, actor, producer, writer, and director Charlie Chaplin is widely regarded as the greatest comic artist of the screen and one of the most important figures in motion - picture history. In 1972 he received a special  Academy Award for "the incalculable effect he has had on making motion pictures the art form of this century." 

Charlie Chaplin starred in, wrote, and directed some of most memorable films in motion picture history, including The Kid (1921), The Gold  Rush (1925), City Lights  (1931), Modern Times (1940), The Great Dictator (1947), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award as best actor, Monsieur  Verdoux (1947), and Limelight (1952). 

The Great Dictator 

The Great Dictator is a 1940 film directed by Charlie Chaplin. It is a satirical - comedy  drama.
